Tango

Agent Tango was brought into the Agency a few years prior to the events that occurred in Alpha & Omega. She was a quiet, unassuming accountant who met Agent Echo at a Pan-Galactic social event at Headquarters, and was duly impressed, developing an attraction to him amounting to something like a crush. When Azeln AbdohNeléKein aka Slug returned to Earth, he was able to use this attraction to gradually and subtly warp her mind and personality. Azeln then ensured a team of assassins of H!nar kre Naese!en!Re was sent to the McMurdo Office, where Tango was stationed. Whether Office chief Pip was telepathically influenced or not is unknown. The result of his retirement, however, was placing Tango into the temporary Office chief position. Under Slug's influence, she colluded with Klu!vit kre Molcren to see Vice-President Zhaejoh kre Ranan of the Ke!endarian Coalition assassinated.

Alpha One, however, determined something was wrong, and Omega determined kre Molcren's hiding place. They imprisoned Tango long enough to dispatch kre Molcren and escape in a maglev train.

Tango was arrested, went before a tribunal which was unaware of Slug's involvement, and unceremoniously expelled from the Agency and placed in a go-nowhere position in the outside world. Before the Agency, in the persons of Agents Echo, Omega, Romeo, and India, could take out Slug, the Bozheen "tied up loose strings" by killing any potential witnesses, including the former Agent Tango.
