Pan-Galactic Coalition

The governing/legislative body of the majority of the Milky Way Galaxy. There are some systems that do not belong to the Coalition, but the majority do. It is a representative republic, somewhere in between the American Congress and the British Parliament in structure and action.

Because it is so large -- there are thousands of planets represented -- for any actions that must be taken swiftly, there is a special, smaller body -- the Ennead, or Council of Nine -- to analyze and act.
