Gibheer Morphology System

The Gibheer Morphology System is a relatively new means of categorizing races in the Milky Way and other galaxies. It classifies body types, and some scientists think it may indicate species that are evolutionarily related -- this would be possible using panspermia hypotheses as well as basic ancient colony loss.

Aminup

Multi-sexed species.

Avian

Birdlike, bipedal, includes:

Basid

Fungal/mushroom-type races.

Bronstid

Non-water-based creatures. May or may not be sentient.

Chaetum

Wormlike and gastropod-like beings.

Coful

Beetle-like insects, such as:

Coleod

Molluscal-type races.

Diplop

Amphibioids.

Dodul

Crab-like decapods.

Fytod

Plant-based races.

Luciferod

Transparent/translucent races that communicate via bioluminescence.

Nefilid

Giant-sized creatures.

Opdip

Standard bipedal humanoids, including (but not limited to):

Pentoid

echinoderm-like; starfish.

Rumid

Mammalian-like non-aquatic races (may be bi- or quadrupedal).

Sauria

Reptilian, including:

Undin

Merpeople and warm-blooded underwater-dwellers.

Verod

Bipedal not-quite-humanoids (a kind of catch-all group). These may be reclassified at a later time, if more information on their basic natures is obtained.
