Local Stations

Local Stations partake of something of the flavor of a local or regional airport, only for interstellar travel instead of local air travel. They are way stations, often present simply because of a localized population of extraterrestrials.

It is a secondary, hidden spaceport and airport, where many of the lesser-known craft are kept for Headquarters. This includes Alpha One's T-Bird T-38, as well as the tender for the D1 Revelation, Assistant Director Echo's personal flagship.

The maglev terminates under the JSC headquarters complex of buildings. There is no spaceport. It reports to the Dallas Office.

Huntsville (AL) LS

Marshall Space Flight Center, a field center for NASA. The maglev terminates under the MSFC headquarters complex of buildings. There is no spaceport. It reports to the Atlanta Office.

Lemurian LS

The Lemurian Local Station, located under the Pacific Ocean, serves the local offworld water-breathing population. It does not have a spaceport. It is currently very small due to seismic instabilities. It reports to the Naacali Office.
