Ennead

The Nine. The Ennead is loosely named after the ancient Egyptian pantheon. In reality they are the most powerful beings in the Milky Way Galaxy, the ruling council of the Pan-Galactic Coalition. This is the equivalent of the UN Security Council on Earth. It includes the Coalition President and Vice-President, as well as seven other representatives elected by the Coalition body as a whole. In addition, the head of the Pan-Galactic Law Enforcement and Immigration Agence (PGLEIA) sits as an advisory (non-voting) member of the Ennead.
